If [livejournal.com profile] randomdreams wasn't around to keep me in check, I would be Britney Spears. Without the kids or money. All drunk driving, attacking people with umbrellas, unprotected sex, stupid accents and no pants. It's true.

I wonder what its like to be beaten by the quality of stage mom that will sell you off to Disney for a tuppance and a song for the first portion of your life. Slutted up by execs before your hormones even settled into a personality and spend the second third of your life being attacked by cameras constantly.

If I was an underschooled redneck, I would be a nutjob too.

In seriousness, Britney's story is a really sad story. I feel very bad for her, and the ferocious media coverage of her just sickens me. I don't think she had a chance.
