Denver Restaurant Week

Denver Restaurant Week (it's actually 2 weeks now) is coming up.
I got the big list and marked all the restaurants I hadn't tried but sounded good, from there I read the menus.
No steak houses, no fish houses, no "onions in every dish", no bread pudding... Must be something I can't make myself, and actually sounds good.

We settled on .... Trillium! It's Scandinavian.
It's across the street from a warehouse I used to live in and I'm curious about the building.

Are you participating?

That looks wonderful. What are you thinking of ordering?

Oh I looked it up my damn self. I will be all stupid and recovering while they're doing it. Plus I'll be out a big pile of money and broke. Ah well. I will have to try and go to Trillium some other time. It looks really cool!

I do every year! My sister's birthday falls within the dates, so I let her pick a place and then we go have foodie food and wine and gossip. I think I might like her birthday more than she does. :P

I don't know what she's going to pick this year, but I might try to nudge her toward Trillium because it looks delicious.
