My outlook express hates me. Welll I'm dumb enough that I haven't upgraded from Win ME yet so I have many problems (you'd put off backing up 80G of hard drive too). But Outlook express won't email out, and the delete button doesn't work. It's none of the security configurations or anything, I already tried all the troubleshooting on Microsofts website. Should I back up my emails, uninstall outlook and reinstall it?
Help!

Yeah, I'd back up the mail and redo outlook. Fortunately, it's really easy to back up a mail profile.

As for backing up the 80g hard drive...if you have a spare IDE slot (or if it's SCSI) you can always buy a new drive and put the new OS on THAT and then mount the old drive (heh heh heh) once you're done. That's how I'm going to handle upgrading my server, because hard drives are cheaper than the DAT or DVD devices I'd need to back up all the data I have.
