We started my birthday with a trip to the Farmer's Market. I got the first apples of the year, an Armenian Cucumber, and many white cucumbers, and a giant white Italian Squash.

A new Belgian French Fries place opened up in Olde Towne Arvada, so we had fries and Peach Lambic for brunch. Children hung all over me.

High Tea at Beatrice and Woodsley! With my family, my Boss and her man, Little Brian and

skazat (who looked amazing). They jammed us in a much too small space but we had a wonderful time.
Ice cream at Sweet Action. I had Nerds, and After Dinner Mint. Square Josh was there and showed pictures of his 2 year old.

randomdreams got me the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty book, and it's so lovely I almost cried.
He also got me Paper Illusions: The Art of Isabelle de Borchgrave, which is also very pretty but McQueen is an impossible act to follow.

My Mother, as always, imparted WTF? gifts: A rabbit cake pan, conversation cards, a kitty bank, and a picture of a bicycle.
My siblings, knowing better, brought me flowers and booze.
My Boss got me some odd children's games which will promptly get donated to the office.

I think I'll take a nap.
