Cyst

My friend with the mystery thing in her abdomen had her surgery this morning.
She's fine. All those "best case scenario" things happened. It was a cyst the size of a grapefruit. They only needed to make a 3" incision. Her ovaries and uterus are intact and fine. She's going home this afternoon.

She looked 6 months pregnant. But a lopsided pregnant, a big bulge on the right side rather than the center.

Yeah, of all the things it could have been cyst is easiest.

My mom had a cyst the size of a grapefruit removed from her ovaries about 8 years ago, and lost about 40 pounds directly afterwords. Turned out that the cyst was totally screwing with her in more ways that one.
