Looking at my phone, I see...

Number of parents I have interacted with in the last 4 hours: 1
Number of parents I have interacted with in the last 72 hours: 2
Number of parents I have interacted with in the last 90 days: 3

Add in another one who I'm having an email/IRC conversation with if you like. I think she counts double, since she has three(!) kids.

I only counted my friends that I see in person.

I didn't count my parents either :)

Oh, I see all those people in person at least every year, and all of them have children under eight years old. But they all live in other cities, which makes the phone much more convenient.

If I could demonstrably communicate with my parents these days, I could found my own religion. ;)
