I have a cracked tailbone, hence the recumbent.

As such,I try not to sit in uncomfortable chairs for longer than a few minutes. Movie theaters okay, church pews no, some venues okay... conference chairs, not okay.
My whole body spent the weekend protecting my tailbone. I did much standing and walking but I still hurt. The STORM, sun, STORM, sun, STORM weather patten hasn't helped either. As soon as I got home, I took a 3h nap and they're'll be a long salty bath later.

And my mouth is still recovering from the hidden walnuts in the muffins.

skazat got injured on the Tour Divide and is no longer in. He's alive and tweeting and has health insurance. That's all I know for now.

walnuts make my mouth unhappy too! and zucchini. and i also have tailbone issues. and wrist issues. it's only a matter of time before i'm riding a recumbent.

Ooo... I can have zucchini but not eggplant. Strange.

I love my bent so so so much! Start trawling craigslist. But ride a few first. I dislike long wheel bases and over seat steering, you might like that though, so try them all out first.

I am adjusting to the lack of fat on my body and am constantly bemoaning the lack of fat on people. I never knew chairs (and hell even bath tubs) could be such agony on a tail bone (and back bone). My sympathies for your derier.
