Dress round mumble

Alright, I hit up Flossy McGrews (nothing), Regal Vintage (more better but no), Sacks 5th Ave (nothing at all), and Neiman Marcus (where did the pretty go).
Crabby, back to the internets. Please look at the pretty dresses and leave comments.
I found a dress that combines the crumb catcher, metallic, long, and mermaidy. Think all those dresses combined, but without the uncomfortable Asian cultural appropriation feelings. I think I can remove the belty chest thing and make a hat or something.:
This one is also freaking beautiful

And this one... gasp... Are peacocks too trendy?

I should have shown more respect for crumb-catcher culture.

Have you considered a corset dress? Dark Garden makes beautiful wedding dresses with removable corsets that can worn after the wedding.

Date: 2011-06-15 12:53 am (UTC)These are all lovely but none say "wedding" to me, unless I'm very mistaken about the scale of wedding you're planning - it sounded more low-key from what you were talking about?
The peacocks are sure gorge though.

Date: 2011-06-15 03:58 pm (UTC)It's pretty low key but the dress code says "fabulous" and when in my life will I ever get to buy a pretty gown again?

Date: 2011-06-15 03:33 am (UTC)I'd wear #3 myself, to my own wedding. Might would have to wear it with other things for reasons, but hell yes I love #3.

Date: 2011-06-15 09:18 am (UTC)why does #1 come in size 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 16? are all the other ones sold out?
#2 looks like the Chrysler building. Does it come with little King Kong and Fay Wray fake tattoos, one for each boob? Oooh, and little planes you could pin to your hair.
#3 yellow tube top seems designed for those with fewer assets...?

#3--wow.
Still voting for blond asian girl, tho. ;)
