Old Vanity Bench Re-do and Christmas Tree

An old vanity at my house is on a sort of long term loan. He doesn't have use or space for his mother's vanity, I think it's pretty, so here it lives. Right now
randomdreams uses it as a computer desk. I'd like it in my studio some day.
Someday we'll fix the vanity itself.
This is its bench. I'm not really fond of the cushion pattern, and while it was in storage the fabric became stained. I got permission to recover it.
Before:

The underside shows the original sky blue paint and burlap orange cushion. Under the webbing you can see the cushion is stuffed with horsehair.

After

This took 20 minutes. I washed and ironed the fabric, washed the bench, unscrewed the cushion, and staple-gunned the new fabric down.
And a photo of the Christmas Tree for Maggie:
