Attempted to make origami Christmas cards. Origami makes me curse more than driving in Boulder. Big failure.

AND I had to BUY book #11 in that series of 14 because neither the library, nor inter-library loan has it. So I bought a new copy and will donate it when done.

I tend to get lost driving in Boulder. I can usually find my way in the end but I always seem to get lost in the beginning. And people think driving in Denver is confusing but it's not. Downtown can be a little tricky but it's not too bad. I like the west suburbs best myself (Lakewood/Wheat Ridge/Arvada). Maybe I think it's easy because I lived there for so many years. It's always easy to find your way around, right?

On the West side of town all the streets are alphabetical!

I love that all the East/West streets are numbered and the North/South streets are alphabetical. It makes it so easy to find your way around!

I haven't lived in Arvada proper but my senior year of high school we did live in Wheat Ridge just bordering Arvada at 44th & Wadsworth so I know the area pretty well.

My favorite dance studio is/was in Arvada, too. Dance Boulevard is one thing I REALLY miss about living in the Denver area because it was the best studio I've ever taken classes!

Hmmm. We were going to take dancing lessons together before I made myself unemployed. I'll look into Dance Boulevard when I get a job.

I have always gotten hopelessly lost in Denver, but that makes it just like everywhere else in a way. In Boulder, I have found myself going the wrong way down one way streets with everyone honking at me or nearly running over pedestrians with them giving me dirty looks or stuck behind people standing in the middle of the road in their cars blocking traffic for no apparent reason.
