Go be out and proud but not too scary and show those Knights of Columbus that we make a mean carrot cake. Go to pancake brunches. Go volunteer where they volunteer. Maybe if they knew more gay people, and learned how fun the gays are, they would be less likely to vote against us. Go win friends and influence people. Go talk to people and give hugs instead of threatening lives.

Meh. I think I've finally just given up on America ever coming around honestly. I mean I'm a damn nice guy, a bit hyperactive but nice. I can't find any means of arguing with these people as neither logic nor emotion seem to sway them as much as intellectual dishonesty and crap appeals to tradition.

So, I'm done with it I think. The fight is fairly over barring court decisions for me, for awhile at least.

This is more true than people know. It goes for blacks too. Once they get to know you, it changes their whole perspective. I work one person at a time and hope it catches on.
