threemeninaboatYes, I will be working one day downtown during the DNC. Tuesday. If I can find parking and all that. I've been told to bring a change of clothes, food, and medication in case of emergency.
Friday, I normally work in the World Trade Center (dock's closed darlin'), the Something Big Hotel that I've stayed in once (Obama's staying here and Secret Service is taking over the dock), the Metro Campus (closed), and some other building (open!). So I am taking the day off and we are doing a hot air balloon ride in celebration of our 5th Anniversary.
Labor Day is also a vacation day.
We will be in Ouray.
Then it will be my birthday. TWO of my co-workers (out of 5 of us) all have about the same birthday (one of us on the third, the other two on the fourth), so none of us get it off. What good is a Thursday birthday anyway? Parisi is open.
