As a dame who thinks "feminism" has something to do with not wearing heels and "power dynamics" was probably the 4th level in Sonic the Hedgehog 3. This paper on "how members of one gender respond to leadership by members of the other gender" is a little complicated for me. I will NOT write about being a dominatrix.

That doesn't really make things less complicated -- the boss is the person who's paying. It's an interesting topic, but not simple.

Write about how when a male teacher has sex with a middle schooler it's all "whoa" but when a female teacher has sex with a middle schooler it's all "dude".

Power dynamics, sex, underagedness... this topic has it all.

Of course, it's been done to death and so that's a downside.

That was one of my wake-up moments: I was working at a lousy place where our shift ended at 1 AM and a woman who wasn't precisely my boss, but who did have firing ability, asked me if I wanted to "go out and do something together after work" -- kinda limited options at that hour, ya know. I got online and talked about it and all my friends were "dude! Is she hot?" and I'm thinking about how that dynamic would change were our genders reversed.
