The faucet I bought brand-new on Ebay for $50? I found it at a plumbing store today for $871.00. Exact same thing.
The Bath and Body Works store is having a huge sale. I popped in to get a present (the only damn thing in the whole store that wasn't on sale) and bought many things.
Our upstairs toilet is nearly new and not horrible, but has a difficult push-button flush system that was hard on the hands. John replaced the odd button flusher with a standard handle, works great. Replacing only 1 toilet saves us $250.00.

Date: 2008-01-15 05:10 am (UTC)Plumbing might be the worst part about owning a home. Certainly it has proved to be the most gross. I can't really make that call though since I delegate problems. Last time I tried to fix anything I made it worse. I get shooed off into the kitchen to make cupcakes.
