MARIANNE MADE ME DO IT!

Her bookstore is having an absurd sale. I got 52 books for $48.
Most of them are regularly priced at $20 a piece.
Hey, they are art supplies.

I'm glad I was nowhere near that. It would have been dangerous. ;)

Drool.

Okay. That's far enough away that I should be safe. Seeing as how I live in Steamboat and all.

But, y'know. Books.

Lots, and lots, and lots of books. Two huge boxes of them, in fact (which are lost amidst the other boxes of books.)

At last count, I had 20 large plastic totes of books still up in Alaska. I'd like to palletize them and ship 'em down here this fall.

Mmmmmm . . . books . . .

Well, there's always one heckuva road trip. If it's in aid of recovering books, well, that's all the better.

Did you try thrift stores?
Maybe you should move to a place with culture or art.

I believe the liner notes of a Type O Negative album once said, "Base your joy not on others, for what is given can be taken away."

I was basing my joy for you.
Then i was telling you to share.

Since we are now quoting:
"What foutune has not given. She cannot take away."
