House hunting

House I liked #1
Beautiful but a little small and I'd break something. Like the satin glassed window kitchen cabnats.
#2) Hmm.. no curb appeal at all. Walk in front door. OMG! French doors leading to a deck that over looks the entire front range, you can see from the airport to Pikes Peak. Old oak hardwood floors! Fireplace! The kitchen is is great shape.
The garage is 1.5 car which is attached to a covered car port.
The basement has a craft room with tiny shelves and drawers built into the wall and a window that over looks the WATERFALL!
The laundry room has a chest freezer and big sink and is walled with glass bricks, I love glass bricks.
Drawers and shelves and closets are built in everywhere. The basement is finished and has plenty of head room and screams "throw a party in me." Plenty of space for a bar.
The back patio has lots of room for a hot tub.
As you look out the patio at the 1/3 acre yard, you see this funny barn shaped out building on the corner of the property, WTF?, you think. You crash through the snow and discover: IT'S A HUGE HEATED MAD SCIENTIST WORK SHOP! Full of crazy mad scientist stuff and pin-up girl posters. Just behind the workshop is a shed and on the other end of the property is a GAZEBO!
3 bedroom, 2 bath: All for $240 thousand.
..oh yeah, you can walk to the grocery store, the porn shop, the dollar theater, the mexican restaurant....

Date: 2007-01-18 04:15 am (UTC)And the far side of the garage wall is really cracked. But we'd be knocking that off to expand the garage anyway.

It's the 6541 Benton in Arvada.
You might have to give a fake name and email and stuff.

Date: 2007-01-19 05:57 am (UTC)Is there a door between the garage and basement? Like the patio on top of the garage.
BTW, less hassle-full links, although the creepy music with the "visual tour" is disturbing.

Note, I can now add a pushpin for it to google earth. And get GPS coordinates. So, just sayin', I better be invited to the housewarming.

Date: 2007-01-19 05:17 pm (UTC)We haven't seen you in a long while.
Redecorating is easy; things like "oh I hate this wall and the is street sucks" aren't easy.
Yes gas stove in kitchen. Of course you'll be invited to the house warming. We miss you.
I was trying to buy you this really cool bee plate for Christmas but the lady at the Pottery Barn wouldn't sell it to me because "it came in a set" with a bunch of other stupid plates that didn't have bees on them. I tried.
