Rumbledethumps

I say this to my husband at least once a week, "You know what other wives serve their husbands for lunch/dinner?"
"Arbys."

Last night we had lamb roasted in mango chutney, mashed potatoes and parsley root, and broccoli. Which meant today's lunch was lamb, cypress grove dill chevre, tomato, and pickle panini.

I have leftover mashed potatoes, a passionfruit and a blood orange. So I'll do Grilled pineapple chili chicken, arugula rumbledethumps (I'd bet I could grill them...), strawberry cashew salad, and passionfruit blood orange souffle.

My souffle looked amazing... until I dumped it on myself while pulling it out of the oven.

The knuckles of my first two fingers on my right hand are burned from where I plunged my hand into the souffle, and my left wrist blistered on contact with the dish.
I've had worse.

Then while holding my hands under cold running water I got that, "I must eat now, no, must vom, wait, you're passing out" feeling.
I passed out in the garden earlier today. My mom says I'm from "weak stock."

I'm glad it's not an "urgent care" accident, or one with the cleaver, or one with the many gardening instruments I've used today.

The mashed bits left in the dish tasted awesome.
