(no subject)

I have a cracked tailbone, hence the recumbent.

As such,I try not to sit in uncomfortable chairs for longer than a few minutes. Movie theaters okay, church pews no, some venues okay... conference chairs, not okay.
My whole body spent the weekend protecting my tailbone. I did much standing and walking but I still hurt. The STORM, sun, STORM, sun, STORM weather patten hasn't helped either. As soon as I got home, I took a 3h nap and they're'll be a long salty bath later.

And my mouth is still recovering from the hidden walnuts in the muffins.

skazat got injured on the Tour Divide and is no longer in. He's alive and tweeting and has health insurance. That's all I know for now.

I just got a call from skazat. He almost made it.

He was going over a larger bump than expected, his front wheel tacoed and he landed on his shoulder. He says it's the worst pain he's ever been in.

He fortunately found some Jeeping guys not too too far away and they took him to the Fish and Game Warden who took him to the ER. Yes, he has insurance.

Nothing's broken or torn, he's just rather pained, "My arm is REALLY HEAVY!" He's on the Mexico bus back to Denver now.
