I love Dumbledore!
Last Chance to See by Douglas Adams, 220 pgs
This book was published in 1990, it's pretty interesting to see what animals we still have (Komodo Dragons, Kakapo bird) and which ones we don't (that Chinese dolphin). Almost as sad is that the animals still alive are still very endangered.
Very funny anyway. Especially the part where he keeps buying aftershave on the airplane, and when they wander China looking for and trying to describe condoms.
The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan, 415 pgs.
Made me get up and go see what local ranches and farms I can buy from. This was great. The whole corn part got really really wordy though.
Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg, 401 pgs
I saw the movie when I was young and always wanted to read the book. I loved it. The characters were fantastic.
Liquid City, Volume One edited by Sonny Liew, 327 pgs.
Some amazing art with confusing story lines. Some art I didn't particularly like with amazing story lines. Some really wonderful things that I will love reading over and over.
