The way to convince that fraction of the unbeliever population that gay marriage would be really great is not by getting them fired from their jobs or throwing rocks at them.
Have you not seen "To Wong Fu, Thanks For Everything, Julie Numar?" Because I know you have.
Go be out and proud but not too scary and show those Knights of Columbus that we make a mean carrot cake. Go to pancake brunches. Go volunteer where they volunteer. Maybe if they knew more gay people, and learned how fun the gays are, they would be less likely to vote against us. Go win friends and influence people. Go talk to people and give hugs instead of threatening lives.
