Mead fest

The International Mead Fest was lots of fun. I took my posse.
I'm glad we went on Friday because it was already a zoo, and they started running out of meads. We got the last of the Scotch mead *drool!)

The Root Beer and Rose meads were very popular with other groups, but not ours. And if we tasted another "floral" mead, we were gonna puke.

The Polish Mead was strong drink. Thick, syrupy, and would hold you up on a dark, cold, snowy night.

Honey dreams

Last night I dreamed that I was at the animal shelter playing with the animals.

One of them was a a white 3lb rabbit with 2 foot tall black ears, her name was Midi, she talked.

Upon waking, I asked John if it would have been okay if I brought home a talking rabbit. That would be fine.
What if only I heard the rabbit? Would that be strange of me to be having conversations with a rabbit? "Midi likes purple kale, not green kale" sort of thing?
No, that would not be strange. He would take it in stride.
