threemeninaboatI took Lillian out today hoping that since it is 65 degrees out I might run into some neighbours. I did.
John's lawn is full of brightly colored perky wooden animals that he makes himself. Lime green and pink dinosaurs, gnomes, purple bunnies, grasshoppers, buzzards. He brings them out on nice days and takes them back in at night because people steal them and bad kids smash them.
He invited me into his studio to see all the Easter bunnies he's working on and he dumped his heart all over me. "I don't think kids stole my animals, I think it was drunks because a drunk driver killed my first wife. And kids are good. I don't think that taking guns away is a good idea because I like to target shoot but I don't want any more children to die. I don't know what to do."
You can see why he fills his lawn full of happy dinosaurs.
I told him he's the best and keep it up. I think we'll ask to buy one of his bunnies this summer.
A teenager around the circle was out walking her toddler. He's cute.
