I don't have to wonder where he is. I know exactly where he is. He has a Spot. A little GPS that sends out his location every 10 minutes. Every few hours it emails me saying, "I'm okay." (I suppose there's also a "come get me" button).
Tomorrow morning he will summit Mt Evans on a bike. Go

Date: 2012-10-01 02:14 am (UTC)On his first Tour Divide the batteries had died for a few days and I freaked out. He called in saying they were expensive (he was running them for a month) and he didn't feel they were worth replacing. I said, "I will always pay for more spot batteries." He's kept them up ever since.
