"You guys making jam today?" my fruit guy at the farmer's market said.
"We could be." I replied.
"Here."

We got 16lbs of organic strawberries for $6. They needed sorting and trimming, but it still came out to ~13lbs. I put them in the deep freezer. If you come over this winter for dinner, you'll get strawberry raspberry apricot pie for dessert.

There were really good prices on cherries this summer.

We have roughly 35lb. of pitted cherries in the freezer now.
