Something (probably an ovarian cyst) on my right side below and in a bit from my hip bone exploded on Friday. Internal exploding is a horrible sensation that sears through my attempts at "finding my cave and power animal" and "deep breathing exercises." A nurse was nearby with a fist-full of aleve. "I'm sorry to bother you, but my Ovarian cyst has just exploded and I think I am going to die. Might you have some pain killers?" I was much better an hour later. Since then, I've been slowly trying to eat again with lots of success. Everything is staying down and I am currently in no pain. We are going out for dinner and I will eat everything.

I went to the meat store and got my dad a rack of buffalo and a rack of beef ribs for Father's Day. I picked up some buffalo bacon too. Perhaps I will make buffalo BLT's with gorgonzola for lunch tomorrow.

omg. I used to work with a woman who had the occasional ovarian cyst, and she told me how terrible those things are when they pop.

Sorry about your cyst. :-( I can't imagine what a drag that must be do live with.

And OMG buffalo BLTs sound good. I have fond memories of buffalo burgers in denver.
