It Came From The Pantry: Gaybor Weekend

The Gaybors are coming for dinner tomorrow night:
Lamb leg braised with beer, hominy, white beans, and green chile. Southwestern Corn bread (pickled Hungarian goat peppers).

J's family is coming for dinner on Wednesday:
Deconstructed "Frito" Pie:
Xochlti blue corn chips, ground kangaroo, red beans, homegrown tomato sauce, queso. Midwestern style corn bread (sweet, no chiles, jesus christ) with maple butter. Hot sauce and onions on the side for me.

I have no idea what to make for desserts. Flan would be awesome. Maybe I'll make 2 flans. Okay.
