reason #200 to have a credit limit larger than you make in a year

On my way to work today my car overheated less than 2 miles away from my house. I threw on heater full blast and limped it to the truck stop. The coolant was empty, I filled it. No help. Well, that's the end of my car expertise.
My dad works at a Subaru dealership near my office. Handy that. I grease his palm with pounds from Gibraltar.
Busted water pump, needs a new timing belt, something bearings something expensive.

Hell, at least I'll have enough flier miles for a trip in May.
