Dear Ryan Warner (Colorado NPR journalist),

Last night I was having a dream where I was watching two people beginning to get romantic, a voyeuristic sort of deal. Just as the good parts started, your head popped into view and you said, "If you enjoy the programming on Colorado Public Radio, please consider donating now at the $120 level."
I am already an NPR member through WNYC (though not quite at the $120 level since I am not working full time)! Next year, I guess I'll have to give to CPR so I can get my naughty dreams back.

After 2.5h of peeling apples with the assistance of the peeler-corer-slicer apparatus, I was only 1/3 done. *sigh* Tired and hungry. Chili reheated, applesauce started.

The 5 gallons of apples boiled down to half a gallon applesauce. So there will be much less apple butter than antici....pated.

A bizarre communication mishap: the lady who wants the coasters, wants 6 coasters total. Not 6 sets of 6 coasters. While I've never heard of anyone giving a single coaster for Christmas.. it is a recession. One coaster for you, the rest went to Afghanistan to support the war! So I have A LOT of origami laying around. Want to buy some?
