You love the song but not the singer

Brian and I went to see Paz's new group The Entrance Band. We got there as sound check was starting (at show time....). LOVED the music, HATED the singer. Paz was not miced for vocals, and she only brought a bass. No strange singing, no violin. Finished our beers and left. They were not yet charging admission, so we lost nothing.
Sort of disappointed. Sure, it was billed as a band, but I have no idea how anyone sings that badly and gets Paz in a band. Though her lead singers are pretty infamous assholes, all of them.

And Brian Molko of our beloved Placebo "collapsed" of "the flu" today in Japan and canceled shows.
