My parents are the only people on their block who did not lose windows because my mom is smart, she opened the windows.
My dad sat on the porch and cried. Possibly because the felled cottonwood took his peach trees with it. But maybe because the storm took out the closest liquor store.
My office sustained much damage. My company car, the PT Cruiser, looks like it was bashed with a hammer, unfortunately not enough that I get a new car. It just got worse, and I probably get the "you bring shame on your company" speech because my car was dirty on the inside.
