Gardening.
Saturday, February 28th, 2009 08:53 pmI rooted around in the dirt today and put in one row of snow peas. The soil was nice.
I found a few more swiss chard plants and watered them.
Went through the seed box and found many herbs, a few poppies, and many pumpkins. We will need to order tomatoes. Planning to do all herbs and flowers on the deck this year (the chives are already big), a big pumpkin patch, a row of sweet rainbow corn, a row of purple beans, and patty pan squash. New adventures in using hay as mulch this year.
Made Indian tonight out of the Tigers and Strawberries suggested book, "660 Curries." Very good.
Tree of Heaven remediation by clover is looking to be quite successful. There is grass in spots where two years ago there was dust, and last year I got some spots of clover. I'll buy another sack. Still need to hit up Rob for a big pile of aged manure. Considering vetiver.
