I sat there the whole time thinking, "I KNOW this artist...Hmmmm... who.." It's the guy who did The Snowman! The art is absolutely beautiful and the story is very good. I loved this book. A man wants to change his career, and gets into loads of trouble trying.
21) Collected Hutch Owen, Volume 1 by Tom Hart, ~120 pgs
The CEOs were great.
22) The Savage by David Almond and Dave McKean, 73 pgs
Eh. Sort of disappointed all around.
23) Cairo by G Willow Wilson and MK Perker
This is definitely going to be in the running for "favorite book of the year" even though it's only February. The characters, the art, the story line were all so amazing I'm going to have to buy this one.
24) Chiggers by Hope Larson, 171 pgs
It was alright.
25) John Constantine Hellblazer: Black Flowers, 142 pgs
We don't get a lot of Hellblazer at my branch of the library, but I think I'll order some more.
I loved the part about eating the mushrooms to talk with the dead.
26) Waiter Rant by The Waiter, 302 pgs
I read his blog while he was doing it and I'm glad I found the book. It's a neat view of fine dining from the other side for those of us who have never worked in the food industry.
