Back demon illness! and The Cop Henry Rollins
Sunday, January 25th, 2009 08:25 pmI felt *really* tired on Friday. On Saturday I woke up at 7 for my 9 a.m. class with a sore throat and tried to cough up my uvula before I could figure out that that thing in my throat was my uvula. I took all the vitamins, Emergen-C, a banana, and packed a jug of throat coat with lemon and honey. I covered myself in hats and sweaters to fry it out and hoped it wasn't too deep to shake. I drank gallons of water.
When I got home 6 hours later I was very tired but watched a movie. Then I took a hot salt-and-tea bath, and cranked the heating blanket up, and went to bed early.
Today, I feel fine. Here's to hoping I do well.

The class I was supposed to be taking this weekend was supposed to be called, "Interorganizational Communications," instead I have the show "Cops" in spoken word form. I don't know if Cop Henry Rollins was the only guy who would put down his Gang Unit for a few minutes to teach a Sat and Sunday morning class, but at least it's interesting. Yesterday was "Funny Traffic Violations" and today was "Gang Signs, Meth Labs, and Drug Running." Like seeing Hank, this goes on for 6 hours a day, for 4 total days. Our final project is supposed to be about, "Ummm... whatever.. you know... communications based...like non verbals." Don't get me wrong, he's super intelligent, very qualified to teach..something.., and fun. Not all teachers can do Sat and Sun morning and keep a class awake. I like him.
I don't actually care any more. Just give me the A, so I can get my sash thing and piece of paper and get on with my life.
