How to fix a shrunken sweater

I shrunked a 100% Marino Wool sweater. I didn't know it was wool, so I put it in the washer and drier. Came out very small.

Called mom. Mom's commin round to put it back the way it ought to be.

Soak in cold water and fabric softner until wet.
Lay it out on a towel.
Gently stretch it into original shape.
Leave to dry, sometimes more stretching (be careful, now my sleeves are too long).
Made like new.
Bounce around in new neat sweater.
