Monday, the mountain view outside my kitchen window (green mountain) was on fire. I watched flames eat the path where I walk Lillian while I did dishes. The lightning storm set the fire.

Today the radio called for a Flash Flood warning during a blue sky. The deluge hit an hour later. This exactly is why I live on a hill.

Driving home, in the deluge, the tornado warning sirens went off.

I love summer.
