Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 09:57 pmToday it was supposed to be not-so-nice outside, but it became sooo fantastic that we finished 90 percent of the poppy garden.
I got 22 types of poppies planted and the clover in.
The last 3 petals on the west side can wait till tomorrow since I ran out of string and plant markers.
Sore.
Trying to teach Lillian, "roll over." She's at the point where she will be lying on her side and lift up one leg. Still working on it.

apotropaic for dinner at Taki bowl and to see Mary Roach speak at the Tattered Cover. Mary is always hilarious to see speak. She seems like the kind of person if you hung out with her you would end up getting into lots of trouble. She signed our books.
We jaunted over to the opening at Andenken, then to the Skinny Squirrel Gallery to seeskazats show. His work was so cute and personal. I loved the balloons and the bicycle piece. I bought a shadow box (from a different artist) called, "My Favorite Glues." It has tubes of glue labeled things like, "BLOATED MAGGOT SPRAY ADHESIVE" "EDGY STRUNG OUT VAMP CEMENT" DESPERATE BACK ALLEY LOVE GLUE." I love it, it's going in my studio.
After droppingapotropaic back home, we discussed that we goddamn hungry. We wanted dessert. We meandered around the city before the idea arose to attempt, "Stuben's." They had good food, dessert and the Pixies on the stereo.
Do not put the electric blanket away before June.
