Today we looked at a big old Victorian farm house on half an acre and half a block from a big park. We loved the land, the big willow tree, the hardwood floors, the living room and the arched doorways. The entire rest of the house would have to go. The first bathroom was ..creepy. The second "bathroom" was a toilet not attached to anything. The stairways were 5 feet tall. The 2 other bedrooms weren't actually bedrooms. The kitchen was a nightmare. The basement was cold and had dangling wires in the headspace. The heat registers in the upstairs were just holes in the floor looking into the downstairs. NEXT.

We chopped down 2 lodgepole pine trees in the front yard 2 years ago. They were about 44 years old. Their rounds have been splitting beautifully and keeping us warm.
