Wednesday, April 23rd, 2003 09:38 amI've seen some strange stuff in my life, and I pretty much take it in stride. I go to Burning Man and hang out with ulra freaks and want to slice open eyeballs, nothings really phased me. But last night I saw something that was soooooo freaky I couldn't even speak.
A band called "Caroliner," sometimes refered to as "Caroliner Rainbow" or other things.
Picture a Mexican Day of the Dead party painted black light orange, glowing, very alive and playing banjo noise with a plinky piano, guitar, bass, drums, effects. Kinda 16 Horsepower if Tim Burton, Jhonen Vasquez and Rob Zombie ran it.

I can't even describe the vocals.

I think this was my favorite concert, ever.
