IT WORKS!!!

I took my computer into the shop cos I didn't know how to install my hard drive. In 2 hours they put in the new one AND transfered all my old data. JOY!!! It's EXACTLY the same as how I left it.
I got a call last night just after I took it in.
"M'am, I can't add the new drive. I'm going to have to replace the old one."
(Nikki in Eeyore voice) "Oh crud..."
"What's the problem with the old one?"
"It was too small."
"Did you back it up."
"Yes...."
"To what?"
"Another computer. Can you just transfer all the old data on to the new hard drive?"
"No. We don't do that. We used to but sometimes files got lost."
"Okay.... go ahead and put the new one in.... Thanks..."

Then I remembered that I didn't back up my e-mails, or book marks or any of the fun noises my computer. I figured this is just a lesson in impermenance.
2 minutes later he called back.

"M'am, I'm not supposed transfer your data, but I can..."
"REALLLY!!!! OH You're beautiful and I love you!!! THANK YOU!!!"

My computer is nearly perfect! (MS Word is fucked up, but it was that way before)



Still evily sick and losing weight. It's almost beautiful to ache all the time. To watch myself be human.

I miss Todd. It's been awhile.
