Atlas Obscura by Joshua Foer: I didn't think it would be different from the website but it is a different experience.

UnGirls by Lauren Beukes: She's such a good horror writer, this is my second of hers and recognized her style right away.

The Beckoning Fair One by by Dan Chaon: That didn't make any sense.

Loam by Scott Heim: AAAHHH SCARY GOOD HORROR

Rusty Brown by Chris Ware. It's a Chris Ware book. Nothing more, nothing less. Always is Best Book of The Year or close.

Sector 7 by David Wesiner. SO BEAUTIFUL.

Falls the Shadow by Skip Horack: Ooof, no one liked this one.

The Hillside by Jane Smiley. Her work has just never clicked with me.

There's No Place Like Home by Edan Lepucki: Probably the best of the Warmer Collection. Great characters.

The Lonesome Body Builder by Yukiko Motoya, Asa Yoneda (Translator): All of these are wonderful.

I'll Carry the Fork: Recovering life after a brain injury by Kara Swanson. Five Stars! Hilarious. excellent information.

The Concussion Recovery Guide by Frances Citrone:  She's not a doctor. There are some nice hints in here but she's just trying to get you to buy her vitamins, that you need to take because the diet she suggests will leave you with a hearty case of Gout.

Everybody Loves Kamau by Kamau Bell. She had an AMAZING grandfather for him to react like that in the long run, like I STILL don't speak to my dad and did not see my grandfather for the last decade of his life.

Single Asiatic Male Seeks Ride or Die Chick by Eddie Huang. Literally no one has any idea what he's saying? And it's a stupid story even? Like I read Clockwork Orange and Trainspotting and they made more sense than this.

Parsnips in Love by Porochista Khakpour. Oh this is soooo cute and endearing.

When Brains Collide by Michael D Lewis. It's the Omega 3 Protocol. I might have to try it. The vegetarian version anyway, since removing all the tiny fish from the ocean leaves a dead ocean and we're getting there....

Two Henrys by Kevin Allen: LGBTQ memoir.

Black Sheep by Rory Scholl: This was so good I read it out loud to John while dying of laughter.
