I've never been kimono shopping, but ... yeah. I feel the same way about the Norwegian traditional dresses, there's been huge discussions here on "CAN YOU WEAR A TRADITIONAL DRESS IF YOU'RE NOT NORWEGIAN???? IS IT OKAY FOR TOURISTS TO WEAR THEM???" and I'm just.... yes!! of course you can, what the hell is the problem? Let people add to the culture!
