On the Move by Oliver Sacks. *sob*
Meat: The art of meat cooking. Doesn't much talk about how to cook meat.
The World on a Plate: 40 Cuisines, 100 Recipes, and the Stories Behind Them. This was dumb. Mark Kurlansky did the same thing badly, only it was not as bad?
The Bees by Laline Paull. There's no new story here. You get about 100 pages in and you think, "Ug, it's gonna end with XYZ..." and it does.
Euphoria by Lily King. ** spoiler alert ** So much slut shaming and violence towards Nell, the author must be one of those women who votes against Planned Parenthood. Not only is Nell beaten, denied health care, and marginalized; she dies in the end! You killed your main character because she had 2 lovers!
A Girl and Her Greens. That was nice. Adorable illustrations.
