My Name is Cliff

Last night I was about to start making dinner when The Cupcake Truck tweeted, "Justice League of Street Food Party. 5-11. Bring your Helmet."

I ran out into the hut yelling, "Street Food Helmet Party Cupcake Truck! Close up your hut and let's go!"
"...I don't have a helmet."
"We have LOTS of Helmets."

We opened the closet in my studio: 4 construction helmets (one with green flocking), 2 life sized Lego helmets, 1 WWII helmet, 2 odd metal helmets. There's also bike helmets, welding helmets, a viking one somewhere...
I took the odd metal one "Cliff" and John got the WWII.

I had the Jalapeno Cheddar Elk Hot Dog with Carmelized Onions and Cream Cheese, John had the Reindeer Hot Dog. We split 4 cupcakes: Apple Cinnamon, Pumpkin, Red Velvet, and Carrot.

Other trucks served: Korean BBQ on a stick, Biscuits with Grape Jelly and Bacon, Tongue Tacos. There was a beer wagon (little kids wagon), and Sangria Stand, and someone serving Ice Cream Sandwiches with Raisin Ginger Cookies and Cinnamon Ice Cream.

Lord. So much fun. Great hats and helmets all around.
