Happy Pi Day!

My little Brian has today off so we are going to My Pi for lunch http://www.welovemypie.com
I called around to a few bakeries to see if anyone had Pie we could nibble after the pizza pie. Most bakeries (Cake!, Cheesecake Therapy..) are closed on Monday. Rhinelander is open.
"Hello? Do you have pie today?"
(German accent) "No. Ve only have pie on times like Thanksgiving."
"Oh.. but it's Pi Day"
"Ve have Strudel!"
*dies laughing*

I lost another diamond out of my ring. Off to the jeweler.

The Dr. from yesterday called! I have a second interview tomorrow! Two interviews tomorrow!

I think I'll make rhubarb pie when I get home.

Sad Pi

The Pi restaurant was having a Pi party. They handed out rulers and a percentage of the profits went to our high school's math department. There was a photographer and a Pi Princess. We bailed for Udi's (they have absinthe and pizza but no pie). The waitress said that, "Rhinelander might have pie today!" Brian and I replied in unison, "They only have Strudel!" "That's not pie."

The jeweler fixed my ring while we waited, $12.

Off to make pie.
